About this time last winter I took a landscape painting course. Despite the drive in nasty snowy weather many evenings, it was a pleasant respite from the day-to-day, and from the normal art that I do. I always like the chance to force myself to work larger, and on things other than bears.;) Of course I vowed to spend this winter painting some more landscapes, but here it is the end of February and I haven’t even looked at a larger canvas.
Here’s last year’s result, and one of the photos I based it on. I snapped the shot one morning just as I was leaving my house to walk to work.
